Menopausal women: Is there such a thing as a warm flash?
I%26#039;m in the right age group for menopause, but still menstruating. Lately, I%26#039;ve been having temperature control problems, but well short of anything I could call a hot flash. When it happens, my neck and scalp sweat lightly and I can%26#039;t tell whether it%26#039;s because it%26#039;s too warm or if it%26#039;s just me.

It occurred to me that maybe hot flashes aren%26#039;t all-or-nothing. Maybe there are warm flashes and that%26#039;s what I%26#039;m getting.

Has anyone else had this experience? If so, I%26#039;m interested to know how long it lasted, whether it developed into hot flashes, etc.

Thanks for reading my question.
You%26#039;re in peri-menopause. Your periods will start to become irregular, and you will be in menopause once you%26#039;ve gone a full year without having a period. Hot flushes can range from mild to severe, so what you%26#039;re experiencing is not uncommon. You should talk to you doctor about your options (ET or HT) if they start to interrupt your %26quot;quality of life.%26quot;
