1) Keeping the energy prices high will force consumers to conserve energy which means carbon dioxide emissions from the power plant. 50 years ago, household A/C non exist. We can live without A/C
2) Keeping the energy prices high will increase demand on public transportation (Bus, Train, Car Pool, etc). We don%26#039;t need to own a car. We have public transportation in the urban and suburban.
We are spoiled!!! If we believe in saving the planet earth, keep the energy prices high. Al Gore, Obama, Clinton, and enviromentalists should be supporting high enery prices. Otherwise, they are a FAKER and only cares about their wealth.

Well. the problem is, that not everyone has access to public transportation. Where I live, I live too far from work to carpool and there is no public transportation to work. My husband owns a construction business and so there is no way to haul construction materials or his tools to the job site other than by his van.
Could we move? Yes, if we could sell our home. Right now, there is a housing surplus in our community and we could not afford to move without selling our home.
The fuel costs are too high already! Do you have any idea what the increased fuel costs do to those who must drive a vehicle?My husband is almost out of business, because he cannot raise his prices to cover the fuel cost. Last year he did less than 9 projects when he normally does 50. So he cannot increase his prices and there is no way to reduce the amount of fuel he has to use and still maintain his service to his customers.
