My boyfriend and I recently started having sex. I had never had sex before so we took the first time slow. It hurt but I expected it to. We%26#039;ve had sex 3 or 4 times since and every time it hurts like crazy. I bought lube for us to use but it didn%26#039;t seem to make a difference. I didn%26#039;t bleed the first time we had sex but the last two times I have bled. He%26#039;s not rough with me and he goes slow because he can see that it%26#039;s painful. Does anyone have any advice as to why it hurts and how to reduce the pain. And is it normal to bleed after sex?

Hi Karen Thanks for you info! I wish I could rate you but I%26#039;m not at a level 2 yet. So he usually does get me to orgasm before we try intercourse. If it is just nerves, how do I relax? I mean I am relaxed with everything else we do, I guess just not the actual intercourse part.

As you%26#039;ve only recently started a sexual relationship, a little blood loss could be down to an intact or partially intact hymen. It doesn%26#039;t always bleed, but it can do and it certainly isn%26#039;t serious.
