sure you can. i started using tampons when i was 13.
it can be tough to get them in the first time though.
but just relax and be patient %26amp; you%26#039;ll be good. just make sure you change them regularly to avoid toxic shock syndrome.
they are SO much more convienent than pads,so i recommend them.
