i got the birth control shot a month a half ago 2 weeks after i got the shot my sex drive has gone down the drain. my partner doesn%26#039;t know much about birth control side effects so he thinks it%26#039;s him he thinks that i don%26#039;t find him attractive or im getting tired of him but in fact i do find him very attractive and i love him so much i tell him its the shot we used to have sex about 3-4 times a week nows its 0-once a week and its not that great i don%26#039;t get aroused as much as before even though i tell him its the shot when we start having sex i stop getting aroused in the middle of it and even though he acts like he%26#039;s ok i know that deep inside he feels rejected.i still have a month a half to go till the next shot which im going to stop even if i stop getting the shot my sex drive might take a while to come back since some stills lurks around in my blood stream but until them any methods i can use to increase my sex drive....thanks in advance
This is pretty normal for birth control...I was in your same situation and tried everything to restore it. I switched pills a couple times and gave up, the libido was just not coming back.
