I think it would be recommended to do so. If you had a vaginal birth, the stitches from your surgery may tear and this could lead to difficulties such as bleeding and having to get the stitches sown back up. Having a c-section would be safer and easier for you. Ask your doctor/midwife about this, it depends on the circumstances.
