Yeast remnants?

I had a yeast infection a few weeks ago and got it treated with the one-dose medication (forget what it%26#039;s called). Since then The itching and burning have gone away.

HOWEVER. I still have the little white balls and film (they called them cheese curds at the clinic) on my labia and around my clitoris. Again, it%26#039;s not painful or itchy or anything, I just have these things that keep showing up. I wear clean, 100% cotton undyed underwear everyday and change frequently. I don%26#039;t wear tight-fitting pants and I NEVER wash down there (except for splashing water on top in the shower).

Does anyone know what%26#039;s going on/has anyone had this before?

I also know it%26#039;s not an STI because I get tested when I got my medicine for the infection the first time around.

I believe what you were perscribed was called Diflucan. You need to take another dose of it. You can call the doctor for another script or you can use the OTC stuff at the store. Sometimes one dose doesn%26#039;t do the job, that happens to many women. So there is nothing to be worried about, just take another dose of the medication.
