i am 18 years old and although my period has been a few days late before but it has never been this late! i am 5 days late and i know that sounds stupid but im worried. i am a virgin so i couldn%26#039;t possibly be pregnant. it could be due to stress from college cos i have had lots of deadlines and i also have a part time job which is quite stressful at times but i didnt think i was stressed enough to cause my period to stop! usually before i get my period i get lots of discharge and i have been getting that. i have also had a cold which could have caused them to be irregular.
also it sounds stupid but two weeks ago i was going to go on the pill and as i joke i said to my friend %26quot;watch my period be late now so i can%26#039;t go on it!%26quot; and thats exactly what has happened! maybe because i am worried and waiting for it to come, its taking longer? what do u think?

Oh don%26#039;t worry its ok i%26#039;ve had the samee problem a few times and i%26#039;m a virgin too it will come don%26#039;t worry but sometimes our bodies decide to take a bit longer , but i agree with the person above if yours still not on lets say in a week go and see your local doctor.
