im 19 and my boyfriend and i where going to have sex, im a virgin. and so when he put it in me i had this excruciating pain and we had to stop

if we try doing it again will it hurt as much as it did the 1st time?

Well if you%26#039;re a virgin, chances are that the pain may come from your hymen being broken. Your hymen is a thin layer of skin that surrounds most of the vagina. During sex, this is usually broken. Once it%26#039;s broken, the next time you have sex it normally wouldn%26#039;t be as painful.

But remember - a woman having a hymen is not an indicator of being a virgin. This can be broken through sports or tight pants (etc.)

So the hymen being the cause of the pain IS NOT 100% accurate, but there%26#039;s still a good chance. If there%26#039;s another massive pain as before - during the next time you proceed with intercourse, it%26#039;s best to see a doctor.
