My right eye really hurts, its red and bloodshot hurts when i blick, and i wince

my mom has a condition called iritis. her eye turns flaming red and she can%26#039;t be out in the sun and she usually wears an eyepatch when it%26#039;s flaring up really bad because it just gets so sensitive. not sure if that%26#039;s what you have but it sounds similar. iritis is usually a sympton of something else so if it continues you should go see your optometrist asap.
