sometimes i see strobe-like flashing zig zags. it is a long line of zig zags. when it happens that is all i can really see. it%26#039;s like i have a blind spot or something in my eye. i last for about 30mins. or so. i have one really bad eye and one good eye. (vision wise) the flashing lights always happen in my good eye. if anyone know what is causing this please help. i haven%26#039;t had the time to go to the eye doctor.

You are actually experiencing what is known as ocular migraines. Ocular migraines are not dangerous and purely caused by eye strain or stress. If you were having pain alongside this however, then it would be a classic migraine and those zig zags you are noticing are referred to as auras (which are sort of the brains warning signs to you that you are abt to get a migraine).
