Will eating a meal 1-2 hours before going to sleep make me gain weight? This is a question where I always get mixed answers so therefore I never know what the right answer is. Thus, I want someone to provide me with proof (a valid source) in their answer. I am a 17 year old male, 5%26#039;10, 136 lbs by the way.
I don%26#039;t have any real proof but I worked in an eating disorder unit for 2 years and I would say it makes no difference at all. You also have to eat an extra 3000 calories but gain just 1lb of weight so I%26#039;d say eat healthily and exercise but don%26#039;t worry too much what time it is. Our patients took ages to gain weight and they had to have milk, sandwiches and chocolate just before bed!
