Why do my knees crack everytime I bend them?
If I squat, crouch, or even walk up a flight of stairs, my knees make a crunching sound like I%26#039;m cracking them. I think it%26#039;s been like this most of my life.. any ideas as for what the cause is?? Or ways to fix it, becuase it is so annoying. Thanks!
Popping isn%26#039;t unusual. Virtually all of my joints do it. Although, popping in itself can be an indicator of a joint problem, such as %26quot;hypermobile%26quot; syndrome, something that causes your ligaments to be looser than is average. This enables double-jointedness at the expense of joint stability, but it isn%26#039;t a handicap or even that serious of a condition. The popping could also be a precursor to arthritis. If it really irks you, schedule an appointment with a local chiropractor. A chiropractor is knowledgeable in joint related issues, and a single visit is affordable and succinct - but don%26#039;t be suckered into having extrenious X-Rays taken. Some chiropractors LOVE incessantly taking X-Rays, and are indignantly obdurate in exposing you to radioactive transgressions for the allure of some extra money.
