Could I possibly have a pinched nerve in my hip/back area?
If I move a certain way, twisting, bending, etc, I get this stabbing pain on my back, but where my hip is. It doesn%26#039;t hurt all the time, just if I move a certain way. I didn%26#039;t do anything though that could cause it. I haven%26#039;t been very active, just sleeping and watching tv, playing video games, etc. So, could this be a pinched nerve? And will it go away by itself?

Shaw-yes that is where the pain is located.
and i%26#039;m not as inactive as i wrote. i%26#039;ve been going out everyday. i went to the zoo, to a science center, shopping, bowling-a lot. but i do sit around a lot too.

It sounds like it could be sciatica to me. I%26#039;d go see a doctor.
