Should i really worry about this?
I get random charley horses, like while sleeping, driving, sitting, working. Its not really a big deal or is it? I%26#039;ll be driving and everytime i step on the pedal my calf starts to cramp up, while i%26#039;m sitting i constantly have to keep my toes pointing towards my head so that i don%26#039;t cramp up. i went to a regular family doctor and she was just like %26quot;oh, well you should try not to use that leg for a while%26quot;. i am drinking lots of fluids, eating bananas, and it doesn%26#039;t seem to be helping.

NITE CRAMPS-- The muscles are shortened while asleep sleep with legs propped up or over the end of the bed keep cover loose from bottom of bed to keep toes from being pushed down.meds will cause cramps such as diuretic over exertion under active thyroid high /low potassium levels poor circulation and to much booze.
Stretching and massaging the area will relive some of the pain. But if you are asleep do this IT WORKS stick foot out of bed to a cold wall and push foot hard on wall this gets rid of pain and cramp if comes back do again

no, you%26#039;re fine. Just try massaging your leg and hot baths. It%26#039;s just a muscle spasm, but should subside with relaxation. Sometimes people just get them from moving a certain way, for example i can%26#039;t do ballet any more because point causes a foot cramp. so just know your limits i guess.

Check back with your doc if it doesnt go away.
In the meantime do plenty of stretching so your muscles can stay as loose as they can.
