Antibiotic pain? I got severely bitten by some sort of bugs and as each day proceeded the bites became red and inflated, and it was painful just to walk (bites on my foot) By the third day one of them completely had taken over my left ankle, gross i know. So a friend suggested I take an antibiotic. I did, stupid move I should have just gone to the doctor, and the inflammation went down. However its been 3 days and now I have really bad abdominal pain, like bad menstrual cramps, and it hasn%26#039;t gotten any better. Helpp? Any relief, how bad can this get if left untreated?

Antibiotics aren%26#039;t like headache pills- one won%26#039;t do any good and they aren%26#039;t all the same being made of different ingredients depending what type of infection they are used to treat-

But I wouldn%26#039;t have thought that just one would have an effect like you describe- but as it wasn%26#039;t prescribed for you, you%26#039;d be better off checking it out- try NHS direct- you%26#039;ll find the number on the net- you can talk to a nurse who will give you advice and help.
