Did i rupture my Archilles Tendon? Hey, uhh well, 3 days ago i kicked a steel goal post (soccer net) as hard as i possibly could (by accident). Since then i have been in pain at times when i try to walk. The pain isn%26#039;t large but I feel a little spark of pain when I move my foot. Anyways, I looked at my foot the day after the incident and when i looked, i saw a small red bump on the laces part of my foot. (the top)

My dad told me that i might have bruised my tendon. So i looked up what a %26quot;tendon%26quot; was on the internet and i found out that the tendon located near the foot is called the %26quot;Archilles Tendon%26quot;

I need to know if it is serious and/or worth going to the doctor to get it checked. I have not gotten it checked yet by a specialist. The bump on top of my foot looks like a small red rectangle. It%26#039;s not noticable now, but 2 days ago it was.

I also would like to know what happened to my foot. Did i rupture my archilles tendon?

no,not a tendon you probally bruised a muscle.
if you ruptured the achilles tendon you wouldnt be able to walk without intense pain(unbearable pain)
and you would probally walk with a linp after that so i say you bruised a muscle.
achilles tendon is in the back btw.the hard rod like thing on the back of your foot.
