Ok i just got my blood taken?? i just got my blood taken and my arm is bruising is the supost to happen and how do i stop the pain??? or do i just wait it out??? You shouldn%26#039;t be bruising after giving blood, but sometimes it does happen if the nurse or technician didn%26#039;t put the needle in correctly. Try taking some tylenol or advil for the pain. If the bruise persists for a week, call your doctor to get it checked out and make sure your blood is healing wounds the way it should be.
