HELP ME PLEASE, I CUT MY finger.? i was cutting potatoes, i cut the top of my finger about half way off, the left over skin is now purple, but its still attached to my finger, the blood is coming down my hand. i dont know what to do, i cant drive, so i have no where to go, what should i do? please help me, im crying so hard.

First of all
the sight of blood may not be
what was anticipated.
just the same stay calm
apply direct pressure to where the bleeding
occured
You may not know how to drive by my dear
bleeding is something serious
and needs to be looked after
If you have neighbors tell them what happened
you need to get to the hospital
and quickly
If you call the emergency department of the hospital
they will tell you what you need to do
Last resort
call 9-1-1 cover the bleeding with a clean cloth
change it if it becomes soiled.

• Calm down. It isn%26#039;t that serious of a laceration. Simply wash the wound as best you can, and wrap it up in some anitbiotic ointment and sterile gauze. You%26#039;ll be just fine. It%26#039;s gonna hurt like hell for a few days, but you%26#039;ll be okay. Change the bandage daily or whenever you%26#039;re about to bleed through. Med Student
• call the er. they%26#039;ll tell you what to do. until they get there, put pressure on the wound with a towel to soak up the blood. everytime the bood seeps thru the towel, put another towel around the wound. DO NOT TAKE THE OLD ONE OFF!! call the ER, put the woud above your heart, or elevate it, and put ice on it. BUT CALL THE ER!!! common sense...geez people.
• keep pressure on it with a clean towel and keep it elevated above your heart. if your really worried call some one to drive you.
