silvadene (an Rx) works well, or polysporin depending on the severity of the burn. (neosporing/ triple antibiotic ointment shouldn%26#039;t be used due to the 3rd antibactierial ingrediant can cause bad irritation on burns %26amp; make scarring worse).also, keep it moist with the medicine %26amp; wrapped in gauze (change at least daily). scabbing worsens scarring. if it heals within 2 wks (and it should unless it%26#039;s a very severe or large 2nd degree burn or 3rd degree--which you should see a doc about!) then it should have minimal scarring.
afterwards keep it out of sunlight. also, you can use Mederma, or just a high quality lotion on it daily. it could leave a mark for a while, don%26#039;t despair, it can take up to a year for any discoloration to fade. got 2nd degree burns (and a small 3rd degree one) on %26gt;15% of my body once.

Silvidene cream. I believe you may have to get a prescription from a dr.
