keep the area clean with soap and water and apply the neosporin or bacitracin. will take time to completely heal. watch for any reddness or signs of infection and if u do see your dr.Other Answers (4)

Petroleum jelly is supposed to speed up healing.
Stop using the Neosporin after the first day or two; one of the anti-bacterials in it can slow healing. If you are concerned about infection, try Bacitracin (it has petroleum jelly also). -
I feel like the lavender preacher. But, lavender essential oil will cure scab and scar. Period. 4-5 drops with aloe if you want, just a little.
