Bellybutton Piercing...? I got my bellybutton pierced about a year ago and it still hasn%26#039;t healed its kind of red, might be infected.. but i dont want to take it off... does anyone know of anything i can take or put on it for the pain or so it could heal? plz help!

i had the same problem with mine it always looked infected and some times it would hurt and some times it would feel ok. everyone told me to put sea salt in some warm water and then put that on it but that never worked. the only thing that worked for all my piercings that i had was the H20 spray they have at the tattoo places. its basically the same thing but it sea salt and water but it has like a lubrication in it and it dont dry your skin out like that sea salt and warm water will. Trust me try it and spray it on your belly button off and on throughout the day and give it a few days and you will see it will start healing. because like i said that was the only thing that would work for mine. When mine was infected it would be really red and have pus and blood mixed together coming out of it. trust me mine was bad to so try the spray like i did it should work. good luck

You could have the same problem I do, and are allergic to the metal the ring is made of. I tried four times piercing my ears, only for them to never heal correctly. This happened with cheap earrings, and even the ones that are gold plated (which I thought would be better). However, for some reason, I got my nose pierced, and heeled fine. So I%26#039;m thinking that maybe my ears are just more sensitive? So even if your ears are pierced and they%26#039;re fine, your navel may just be more sensitive. My advice is to see a doctor about it. They can do allergy tests and tell you what you%26#039;re allergic to, or they can diagnose and treat an infection if that%26#039;s the case.
a year and it never healed, and you never seen a dr??? yeah right! you been in pain a year and ask this question now?? i got some sasketchewan seal skins for sale, they are on my ocean front property in arizona. anyone believes you may be interested!
I don%26#039;t think there%26#039;s anything you can do to make it feel better. You might want to consider having it removed. Personally I don%26#039;t like belly button piercings but that is just my opinion
use bactiten to help heal it, but honestly if it;s been a year that it%26#039;s been like this, you may want to talk to your doctor or go to the tattoo parlor where you got it done at
if i was you i would take it off cus it can cause a huge infection and it can lead into very harmfull stuff including death! **** starts like that and end up very bad!!!! infections is not something you want to mess with!

Maybe you arent properly taking care of it.
Go to the place you got it pierced at they could tell u
Go see your gp, mine got infected andhe gave me this yellow stuff to rub on it for a few days..cleared up great x
see a doctor
