There isn%26#039;t any telling. It could be a mosquito or any type of insect or spider bite. The important thing is that it%26#039;s getting smaller. That%26#039;s a good sign that it%26#039;s healing on it%26#039;s own and your body is fighting off any infection or poison in there. If it starts getting worse or doesn%26#039;t ever go away, see a doctor, but other than that, you%26#039;re probably fine. I must say though, in response to another answer, that a spider bite CAN itch. I had one, and in addition to being painful to the touch, that thing itched like crazy. I ended up having to have it drained and got antiobotics, because it became infected. But it got bigger and bigger every day and was becoming worse and worse.
