Gauge infection? my friend and i were bored at the mall so,
i shoved a 14g, into my ear [i was already pierced, i just never wear earings]
i%26#039;m not going to lie it hurt but, i wanted to know if it could be infected its still kind of swollen and red but its the second day, and i just soaked it in rubbing achohol. i%26#039;m going to keep on doing this for the rest of the week but would i be able to tell if its infected now?

I%26#039;m assuming you dont carry needles around with you, so you must have gotten the 14g from a piercing place, which I can hopefully assume its clean. Your ear probably isn%26#039;t infected, just irritated and swollen considering you just stuck a fairly big needle in your ear 100% 1 Vote

  • When you say 14g I%26#039;m guessing you meant jewellery spaced at 14g right? Well if your original piercing is already completely healed then it should be fine. It will just be a bit sore because you stretched it and it needs to heal. If it bled or anything (which I doubt because it wasn%26#039;t much of a gauge change) then just keep checking on it. Should be fine though. :) 0% 0 Votes
