These indeed are canker sores.... they hurt like crazy and always seem to get bumped when you eat/talk/think/sleep. I am an old warhorse when it comes to battling these things... I get ulcers instead of getting sick and have had up to 36 of them in my mouth at one time (including on my cheeks, under my tongue, and the fleshy part in the back of my mouth). Here is the deal with these things, there really isn%26#039;t much you can do to treat them... you can go to your doctor and request Kennelog in Orabase... this will coat them so it doesn%26#039;t hurt as much if you bump them. You can also use a product called Zilactin which is a wonderful product that forms a %26quot;skin%26quot; over the ulcer and thus protects it. If you have one you don%26#039;t have to go to this extreme.. but if you start to get multiple ulcers... you can get Viscous Lidocaine from your doctor or dentist... swishing with this will numb up the ulcers, your mouth and your tongue...the only downside is it doesn%26#039;t last very long. Sadly the ulcers have to run their course, all of the thing mentioned will help a little bit with pain but none of it will speed up the healing time... it just has to run it%26#039;s course and than disappear. It is a canker sore [not %26quot;soure%26quot;]. They are very painful, and last about 4 days or so. You can kill some of the pain by rubbing it with a Q Tip soaked in peroxide.

Swish some hydrogen peroxide in your mouth. Mix it half peroxide and half water. It will also whiten your teeth. :)
