Um, I would take the stuff you usually end up needing at home. In addition to the typical first aid supplies, I would take some cold medicine, so nasal spray (whatever you typically use when you have a cold) and some tylenol or ibruprofen for pain. And be sure you have things like tweezers and something to use for an icepack. Honestly though, doesn%26#039;t your campus have a little nurse%26#039;s office of some sort? Mine did, and if I or anyone living in the dorms needed anything, they were there. For first aid type stuff. They always had tylenol, band aids, ice packs, things like that...not to mention some sound advice. I would utilize the campus clinic if I were you, and take only the basics.

Paracetamol for any fever. Ibuprofen for any pain. Band-aids, gauze for any blood (i.e. cuts). Saline water to clean any wounds. Two types of tape (to keep the gauze in place as well as tape your ankles/wrists when exercising). Mylanta for any stomach issue. Arnica cream for any bruises. Ice packs. Heat packs. Being hypoglycemic you should wear a wrist band saying so and always carry some lollies with you (that%26#039;s what I do). Triangular bandage (for any broken bone or dislocated shoulders). Scissors and tweezers. DO NOT put aspirin as some people are allergic to it and it is only used when people have heart attacks because it thins the blood.

They sell first aid kits at some Staples or Office Depot....or even Home Depot or Lowes. It depends on what you usually do to yourself...at the very least, band aids of all sizes, bactine, antibiotic ointment, vaseline, alcahol, peroxide....that should do....congratulations on going to college...get a refrigerator and put it in your room, and make ice packs out of water and freezer bags. Just double bag the water and freeze it. A heating pad helps. Have fun at school, be safe, and live life to the fullest
