Sunburn help? I went to Apache lake yesterday. I was there pretty much all day and reapplied sunblock many times, but I still got badly burnt. I%26#039;ve been using aloe vera and plenty of lotion. I was wondering though if anyone knows any way to speed up the healing process and to stop the pain and to prevent peeling. More the peeling. I really dont want to peel. Maybe some home remedies. Not the vinegar bath. Those actually make it worse. It dries the skin out.

  • Sorry. You said you got %26#039;badly burnt%26#039;. Been there many times and done that. Once the skin is burnt there is no way to stop it from peeling. It%26#039;s dead...it will shed. Sorry. Fact of life. Don%26#039;t stay out in the sun so long next time or cover up. (Yeah I know...I%26#039;m 50 and I learned the hard way too) RN %26amp; Southerner! 0% 0 Votes
  • If you actually get an aloe plant that works REALLLLLLLLY well and immediately. Also sometimes when my legs are burned I like to take a cold bath or put ice on them. It doesn%26#039;t help in the long run, but for a little while it feels good. 0% 0 Votes
