How do you prevent peeling after a bad burn? Recently this Friday I went to a beach in central California, like most beaches here, it was quite windy and the sun was barely out, I was actually shivering while i was laying down trying to catch some rays... so my friend and I laid on our stomach and relaxed

Me, being a quarter Greek and having very olive skin, like usual did not wear any sunscreen, either did my very pale friend. I can say though, i have never been burned, until now!

so after about an hour when her mom came to get us, it hurt so much to bend, and looked at the back of her legs and they werecompletley pink, and mine were getting there.

An hour after getting it we put lotion on, and about 5 hours later we went to the store and got every aloe vera product possible and reapplyed. its been horrible, i can barely sit or walk up on my own stairs

my biggest concern is i just don%26#039;t want to peel! my legs have finally cooled down, but i have still been putting aloe vera on, because they still hurt
how do u prevent peeli

they will peel eventually, when they start to flake, take a cool, long bath (which will soak off the loose bits of skin) and with a face washer, gently rub your legs and get the rest of the skin off.

  • You can%26#039;t prevent it from peeling. The damage was already done. Just keep using moisterizing cream on it to help the skin heal. Use something with Vitamin E in it. This can diminish the damage/scars. 0% 0 Votes
