Insect Bite?

the and you it to of have they go has in She or really

Insect Bite? I got two insect bites the other day. They are next to each other on the back of my leg. To begin with, I thought they were heat lumps. Then they went really big, the flesh beneath the skin has gone a bit hard around the bite. It%26#039;s gone a bit yellow and very red. The biggest bite has gone a shade of purple. But, they havent bled. Now, they%26#039;re really painful and itchy at times. When I tense the muscle in my leg, it hurts, and it can be a little painful when I walk. I wash it with warm water daily and I have put antiseptic cream on it. It does seem to be dying down and the swelling isn%26#039;t as bad. But it still hurts! Am I doing everything right? Have I got an infection in it? When will it go?! Thanks!

that sounds like what my g/f got in Turkey last year! She had the same symtoms as you. She ended up going to see a doctor over there, and some sort of insect has bit her and layed eggs in her. She has to get them cut out, before they hatched! Good luck!!! 100% 1 Vote

  • Keep doing what you are doing, should the bites get bigger or if you have red streaks, run a fever, swelling of the extremity, I would go to the doctor, and it isnt a bad idea to go ahead and see your doctor you could have been bitten by a spider. Antibiotics would help if you have an infection from the bite, so really you cant go wrong. I do hope you feel better soon. 0% 0 Votes
  • If you have signs of an infection like the other person wrote about, then you need to see the doctor.
Otherwise you can use several things, such as a mild solution of bleach and water, or applecider vinegar, or tea tree oil. 0% 0 Votes
  • rub a banana skin on the sore area and you will notice the result, its 100% effective 0% 0 Votes
