Mosquito Bite Prevention & Relief?

to and the grandma that my in water if you mosquitoes

Mosquito Bite Prevention %26amp; Relief? When I go to my grandma%26#039;s house there are TONS of mosquitoes. I get bitten all over and I hate it. Plus sometimes a few fly into her house at night and then I can%26#039;t sleep. I%26#039;m visiting my grandma in a few weeks and I%26#039;m dreading the mosquitoes instead of looking forward to seeing my grandma and doing fun things with her. My grandma isn%26#039;t bothered by the mosquitoes and hardly gets bitten. Is there anyway I could do something so the mosquitoes ignore me like they ignore my grandma? Other then bug spray or wearing nets. And if some do bite what can help? Also I heard that after awhile theres a chance that you could become %26quot;un-allergic%26quot;... would that happen to me if I were to be brave enough to just sit outside and allow myself to be eaten.

Any advice would be great. Thanks :)

  • Mosquito%26#039;s are attracted to the carbon dioxide we breathe out, so you can%26#039;t stop breathing. Even though sprays stink, they do work. Ask your grandma to use an outdoor fogger if you are outside. This places a barrier in a certain perimeter for up to 6 hours or so. Avon cosmetics also has a wonderful product that works and smells very nice. Try wearing dark clothing as well and ask grandma to burn some citronella candles in the house. She may even look around the house for standing water, mosquito%26#039;s like standing water and they use it to lay their eggs. Reducing the likelihood of standing water should reduce the mosquito population as well. Good luck at grandma%26#039;s.
