no!!! the fluid inside the blister is sterile to your body, once you pop it-you run the risk of getting an infection.sunburns that blister are considered 2nd degree burns and you really should seek medical attention for them (especially if you have more than 1-2 blisters). sometimes, a special cream called silvadene is needed to treat it and is only available from a dr.
keep the blister clean and dry. do NOT apply ice, food products, creams, or oils to the blister area or any other sunburned area. these trap heat and can cause infection.
you can apply aloe vera gel to the area surrounding the blister but leave the blister dry and clean. avoid bumping it against things and try to keep clothing off of it (you can gently cover it w/gauze to help avoid contact).
if it does pop on it%26#039;s own, then wash the area well with warm water and soap. apply neosporin to ward off germs and then cover it w/a bandaid or gauze pad until it heals.
make sure to drink plenty of fluids to help replace fluid lost due to the sunburn. i work in trauma icu

You should avoid doing this because when you pop a blister the top layer of skin is no longer able to protect the 2nd layer and it can prolong healing and cause an infection. Just wait and allow it to pop on its own. It usually will dry out from the inside so you do not introduce the possibility of infection. Hope you feel better.

no, dont pop it! that can cause infection. just leave it -- eventually it will pop by itself or else the liquid inside will just be absorbed by your body.
