Stinging in the ocean?

Stinging in the ocean? On a trip to Pensacola, I got a stinging sensation on my ankles or behind my knees while in the ocean. The water is clear; no jellyfish are around. Sometimes tiny bumps are on my skin, but usually no marks at all. What causes this?

oh nothing big, it happened to me. there just really really tiny jelly fish. they do no harm though! they only get worse if you itch them, so just let them go and in about 30 min they should be gone. Good luck ! me!
