Insect repellants do not work for all spiders. If you are afraid of being bitten, avoid where spiders are in nature (ie underbrush, woods, etc) if you cannot do that, then you need to wear long pants and sleves and shoes that are not open.

I haven%26#039;t heard of a lotion to prevent spider bites, but I do know that putting dryer sheets under your bed and around your pillows will keep spiders away from you when you%26#039;re sleeping.
