I got bit or stung by something, any ideas what it could be? I live in Charlotte, NC and I was out with my dog in the field behind my apartments and felt something itching and looked down and something very small was crawling on my foot. it was about the size of an ant but it was not an ant. To be honest I dont even know if thats what bit me because it was in a different spot then the bite was. The area is swollen to about the size of a dime now and itches a lot. I put ice on it but it didn%26#039;t seem to do anything. It hasn%26#039;t gotten any bigger in the last 20 minutes and I don%26#039;t feel any other signs such as dizziness. what could it be?+

Mosquito bite, chigger, some type of what I would call a sweat bee (very small bee or waspish type insect). If its still there tomorrow its a chigger.
