Take either Ibuprofin or Asprin, not both. Put some baking soda in your bath water. It will take out the sting or burn. 100% 1 Vote

  • Although it stinks, try brown vingegar on the sunburn. It stakes the pain out and decreases the redness with less likelihood of it peeling. Ibuprofen decreases swelling; however I would check w/pharmacist on the medication portion before u take just in case you are taking other meds that may interact. But the brown vinegar does work and stinks. Also, witchhazel works but not as well. Tried and true on the brown vingegar. Also, do not use soap in the shower, use cool water and blot dry. Also do not use a lotion that has alcohol in it, use lotion with shea butter just in case you are using a ton of lotion. You would be surprised just how much alcohol there is in lotion. Read the label.

  • ibuprofen is anti-inflammatory...use this.
friend from cali told me soak pieces of brown paper bag in distilled vinegar. ..place on burn 15-20 minutes..takes heat out of burn..
no lotions with fragrance-irritant, alcohol in lotions makes it worse..
aloe from plant is great..vitamin e straight from capsule is great too.
I have heard noxema is good too...hope u feel better soon. 0% 0 Votes
