Is there some sort of bath I can take that will help speed the healing of a sunburn?
I went Salt Water Tubing yesterday and totally missed most of my body while putting on sunscreen (I used the spray kind so now I have stripes of unburned skin through the burned skin) But I%26#039;ve got 2nd degree sunburns all over the front of my legs and arms. I%26#039;ve tried several things to ease the pain, I%26#039;ve used aloe vera gel, solarcaine, moisturizing lotion and even vinegar... all have helped but only for a very short amount of time.
So, I was wondering if there was a bath I could take that would maybe help with the pain and help it heal faster. Like something I can mix in with the bath water..
Anything you know would be a great help!!!!

u can try AVEENO OATMEAL BATH just fill your tub up with water and pour it in it should help alil bit

My grandma always made me take a bath with a few cups of vinegar in it. It smells horrible but it took away the burn. I do not know if this is %26quot;technically%26quot; the right advice, but it%26#039;s just an old home remedy. We used to take washrags and put white vinegar on them and just lay them on the burns. I really believe it helped a lot. I hope that this helps. Please know that this is just a personal experience and by no means do I have any source or legitimate reference.

an oatmeal bath followed by a baking soda/water mixture is sure to ease your pain. then drink LOTS of water. put on aloe vera everywhere that there is sunburn and then get some good sleep. stay out of the sun for a while and if you do have to go outside, even if it is cloudy, where like a white hat or a a white jacket. the color white helps to keep the sun away because it relflects the sun rays away from you. DO NO WEAR BLACK!!!! it does the exact opposite. it attracts the sun light. Also, if you dont think about your pain, then it will seem better. Feel Better and God Bless!
