Help I Cut My Thumb With A Chopping Knife? I was chopping veggies and frutis with a knife, and the knife got friendly with my thumb, a little too friendl, we exchange fluid, my blood and apple juice. It bled for awhile, then it stopped I washed the cut and everything in soap. Then put a bandaid, it stopped bleeding, later someone put some antibiotic gel stuff on it and then a new bandaid.

What should I do now?

If it was a bad cut you should drive to hospital and they can give you stitches or a proper bandage, if its not that bad then I%26#039;d just keep doing what you%26#039;re doing changing the bandaid every so often, if it goes a funny colour, starts weeping pus or starts to smell they you should see your doctor/ go to hospital as it%26#039;s probably infected.
Just be sure to regularly change the bandaid and keep the antibiotic gel on it...

But if it%26#039;s a bad cut, you might need stitches. In that case, I would advise you to go to the hospital emergency room and get them to look at it.
Dont irritate it and let it heal..
keep changing bandaids..and putting new antibiotic gel on it.

Go to the hospial if it starts bleeding again.
GO TO HOSPITAL check it out. It can get infected because the metal or just get a appointment and see if its ok.
