OKay brace yourself this is a home remedy and it is better and faster then all the other answers and I swear by it and my kids do too, everyone thought i was crazy but I have a book with all natural home remedies and everytime i get a sunburn i use %26quot;vinegar%26quot; it will take the burn out immediately!!! i mean it smells so nasty but it works super quick, you put it on where it is burned and it will take the heat right out of it, it kinda stings at first but you will sleep real well tonight after you use it cause it will take the burn out quick, but you will stink but you have to keep it on long enough to get all the sting out, so plug your nose but it works and better then all the other things, they will help for about 5 minutes but they will not take it out and keep it out this does, try it, i swear it works..

as crazy as this sounds take a bath/shower as hot as you can stand it. this will hurt i but it will take the sting or burn as you said out. after just to relieve the pain take some tylenol and put cold aloe vera gel on it, i sit in front of a fan to dry it. this will be very cold but it helps so much trust me i just got burned pretty bad over the weekend fishing. hope you feel better soon.

Definately aloe vera - gel, not lotion (if you have an aloe plant, that works even better). And do not put clothes on... you%26#039;ll just trap the heat and make it worse. A cold bath or shower will just make you sick. If you have to bathe, make it tepid or only slightly warm

get some aloe vera gel or the spray, put it in the fridge then put it on, this will soothe it heaps. Make sure you keep the sunburn moisturised, so it doesn%26#039;t peel as much afterwards. And wear sunscreen next time...

Solarcaine gel with aloe vera is really good. I also soaked in a tub of cool water with a few ground up asprin in it. that helped a lot.

I use Aveeno lotion with aloe in it. It comes in a green bottle and it%26#039;s pretty awesome.

I keep aloe vera lotion in the refrigerator. It%26#039;s quite soothing and seems to help stop peeling.

Cool cloth. Don%26#039;t jump in a cold shower, because that can make you too cold.

Slather noxema face cleanser on it.
