You should take her to the doctor. Does she have a fever, has she developed any rash or allergy type of symptoms? The amount of the swelling on this bite would indicate an allergic reaction (either to a venom or the insect bite). If you are able to in any way, you should take her. It may turn out that they simply prescribe or offer some hydrocortizone for the pain, itching, swelling and such. It may turn out she is allergic to insects and or bees/wasps in the future. I hope this helps. Wyoming Emergency Medical Technician 100% 1 VoteOther Answers (4)

Yes you should take her to the doctor. Anytime someone has a golf ball size goose egg on their head, they need to go to the doctor... but I at least HOPE you already knew that.
