Spider bite?

Spider bite? so i got a spider bite on the wrist about a week and a half ago.. i didn%26#039;t see it happen and it did not start itching till later on. it swelled up a bit and had the two obvious fang type marks. it has been itching ever since but there are no open sores just a few scabs and a few other bumps around it. it does not look bad at all... i live in north carolina so we have black widows and brown recluses but this really does not fit the profile for that type of bite.

HOWEVER this morning i woke up and my arm has really been bothering me, it just aches almost like it would if you were pushing on a bruise. AND there is this weird dark line going from around the bite to my elbow that looks like a bruise but long and skinny almost as if it is following the vein??? is this something i should go to the ER for or just wait till later on this week and go to the regular doctor??

i would definatley go to the ER. if it looks like it follows your vein there is probably poison in your vein. your arm bothering you is a big indicator. it was probably a small brown recluse, but still danegerous. if you have other aches, pains, nasea, headaches, or any other sick feeling, go to the ER immediatley 100% 1 Vote

  • You need to go to the ER right away. Stripes running up your arm towards your heart from a wound is a dangerous sign of possible blood poisioning. Also, some spider bites can cause necrotising arachnidism where the flesh starts to basically decay or rot for lack of a better word. If it were me, I would go to the ER......and soon! 0% 0 Votes

  • you might wanna get it checked out by a doctor have u seen white puss or blood coming out of your bite nrown rescluses bites are serious so you really really need to get that checked out 0% 0 Votes
