Rub on some vinegar - it takes the sting out. My boss swears by it.

  • Aloe vera is the best product on the market. Nothing works better. I hope you bought the kind tinted green and it%26#039;s in a gel form. The gel absorbed quickly and easily. Don%26#039;t hesitate to put it on again and again until the burn subsides.
I swear by a product I found at my local grocery store. It was a generic brand, so you are just a easily going to find it at a dollor store, or a drug store. I%26#039;m sure Wal-Mart would have it. It%26#039;s called Pain Relieving Gel. It has a blue tint, it%26#039;s in a gel and it has aloe, menthol and lidocaine. The aloe is combined with a cool refreshing menthol that feels really good to a burning hot sunburn, and the lidocaine should help the pain. Don%26#039;t hesitate to put it on a second time for best results.
There%26#039;s always vinegar. You can put some in a mist spray bottle and spray it on anytime. It can go on hot and tingly, but once it absorbs into the skin, it can leave it cool to the touch.
Stay away from the heat and the sun. Try not to wear clothes over top of it. Don%26#039;t get it wet, and don%26#039;t take hot showers. It can feel good at the time, and then when it returns to normal it can come roaring back with a burning sensation.
Apply the pain relieving gel as much as you can until its tolerable. I would think after 2 or 3 applications you%26#039;d be feeling much better.
  • An aloe product that contains menthol is your best bet right now. Check out the after-sun stuff. The blue and green ones often contain menthol to cool the sunburn. It%26#039;s suspended in an aloe preparation so it lets the heat out, but the menthol is what gives the cooling. I burn easily (even with super-duper sunblock) and live on this stuff. It makes the burn less severe and helps it heal faster, since it helps take the heat out of it. The blue and green color helps your sunburn not to show as much while it%26#039;s healing, too.
  • if it is really bad dont put lotion that is like victoria secret or anything like that or you will be sorry. get a sun burn ointment and apply to your burns or soak in a cool bath
  • prescription Xylocaine.

usually the over the counter stuff is not as good.

    you can google it.
  • try this product by Banana Boat called Soothing Aloe Aftersun Gel, I use it all the time when i get a sun burn and it works right away. Hope this helps!
