You need to be VERY careful. I knew someone who accidentally poked something too far into her ear and burst the eardrum.I also recommend that you use tweezers - not a toothpick! If you begin to feel ANY pain, pull out the tweezers and seek medical help.
I strongly suggest finding someone to help you. This is not really something you should do on your own. No need to be embarrassed - it happens to the best of us.
If you insist on doing it yourself, I suggest looking on google for images of the ear %26amp; %26quot;inner ear%26quot;. It%26#039;ll give you some idea of what you%26#039;re poking tweezers into, and give you a little more wisdom as you do the procedure. :)
You might also get the cotton in your ear wet. This might help it stay together better. Just a suggestion (that%26#039;s what I%26#039;d do).

you should try to take tweezers
do not mess with it to much because if yu do then it will go deeper
a doctor can use special tools to get it out but that is abotu unles you use finernails
do not do too much until your mum gets home

DON%26#039;T do anything! You can push it in deeper! Get someone to help you if you insist on doing it, and use tweezers not a toothpick! An ER or Dr visit may be in order
my neice got a bead (I still don%26#039;t know why she did it) in her ear and had to go to the ER to get it out...

If you have tweezers around you might be able to get it out with those. But you should probably be careful about putting anything too deep in your ear because it can push back all the wax an cause hearing problems.
