How do I remove a burn mark?

How do I remove a burn mark? I have a burn mark on my knuckle (from hot water). I%26#039;m very darkskinned so it%26#039;s hard for others to see (but I know it%26#039;s there).

It happened 3 years ago. I%26#039;m assuming it%26#039;s a 2nd degree burn, if I cannot remove it, is there anyway that I can probably smooth it out?

*yes. It%26#039;s not that serious for graph...it%26#039;s just a little discoloration, and the skin is a tadbit rougher. I know I%26#039;m making a big deal out of it.

sorry, there is nothing out there that will remove a burn scar, but time. give it a couple more years. usually takes 5 yrs or so, this is coming from personal experience. me

• I%26#039;m not sure you can %26#039;remove%26#039; a burn mark, but try applying Vitamin E or healing cream to your burned knuckles since the ointment removes scars- or at least- helps them.
  The expensive option is having an operation and then a skin graft, but you really won%26#039;t go that far just for a burn...right?
