Keloids are hard masses of scar tissue which can be warm and I am pretty sure you%26#039;d know if you had one. Swollen, puffy, and mild bruising are to be expected when you take a chunk out of your skin. If you were pierced four days ago all of this is normal. If this is still the case in a few weeks then yes, you should be worried. Healing skin does itch. You are perfectly fine and if you don%26#039;t believe me call the shop and ask someone working there. I%26#039;m a piercing freak.. I have and have had a lot done. 100% 1 VoteOther Answers (3)

keloids dont develop that fast, they take a while. a keloid is thick and higher than your skin, it is sore, sometimes itchy, and very red. it is too soon to say for you, your body is just trying to heal the hole and is a little swollen and itchy because of it. use vitamin e on it once its healed to prevent scarring. when we heal it itches so that isnt bad. i have a huge keloid on my chest, it didnt appear for months after my injury. massage the area when healed too, that will help.
