Cut my thumb?

Cut my thumb? I was opening a Smart Ones sandwich with a knife and when it opened the sandwich it also opened my finger a little!I have seen my mom get cuts alot worse than this and I know I dont need stiches or anything(the cut itsnt even a inch long). but this is what I did,I put my hand under water,than I put a napkin on it and applied pressure so the bleeding would stop(didnt bleed to much),then I put A%26amp;D ointment on it and then a bandaid.I was just wondering if I needed to do anything else?And again,I dont need stitches or anything cause Ive seen worse cuts without stitches!I was just wondering if there is anything else I needed to do or if anything I did was bad for the cut! Please let me know.

  • It doesn%26#039;t sound like you need stitches, as long as it has stopped bleeding you should be fine. Put some neosporin on it to keep it from getting infected.

  • ok i would see a docter just ask them i have a bad infection i asked a question about how to stop it.
  • No it seems all good. Be careful next time and replace the Band-Aid every few hours.
  • you shuld put neosporin on and than band-aid every 12 hours for about 4 days......hope this helped you out and good luck!!!
