good question.
there are a few things you can do:
wash your hands and get in there, lifting your eyelids and searching while looking in a mirror, or ask someone else to look with a light.
second, wash your eyes with cold water: it will feel better and it might wash out the particle.
third, go see a doctor if its unbearable, and have him/her look at it.
chances are this is not psychological, and something is there.
if something is stuck in your eye, it might travel as far as under your eyeball, possibly scratching your cornea along the way (increasing the feeling that something is there)
if you have scratched your cornea, you%26#039;ll make it worse by rubbing it. it can easily be fixed by eyedrops if it isnt extensive.
it wont dissolve, and you should do something about it if it bothers you more or to the same extent within one or two days.
my opinion is not professional, but I have a feeling you have scratched your cornea, meaning it will keep bothering you until you get some drops for it. 0% 0 Votes -
Is it your eyelashes? One time I felt like I had something in my eye for a few days. Once I really got to examining my eye it ended up being my eyelash. It was still attached to my eyelid it had just bent forward from the corner of my eye.
