How do you get your tongue to stop burning from battery acid???

How do you get your tongue to stop burning from battery acid??? I was playing a video game and the acid leaked on my fingure. Before I relized it wasnt a cut on my fingure, I put my finger to my tongue (I always treat cuts this way). Turns out it was acid and now my tongue is burning like hell. Help me!!!

Try washing with a mixture of warm water and baking soda, that will neutralize the acid. Then rinse with lots of water. If there is any continued pain or damage, then you should see a professional right away!
