Cartilage piercing abnormality?

Cartilage piercing abnormality? I have had my cartilige piercing for about 5 months, and I took it out last night for the first time. When I took it out, and noticed a huge bump on the back of my ear, and the front of my ear started swelling up as well. I cleaned my ear really well and cleaned the earring and tried to put it back in and it wouldn%26#039;t go in.

SO. Now I have a gross, maybe liquid filled bump on my ear that I have no idea if it%26#039;s normal and what to do with it!
