i live in the south and get a few ant bites every summer and i usually pop the bubble the next day and the red spot is gone within three or four days. i hate the itch that there is initially but other than that they really aren%26#039;t that bad. i%26#039;d much rather be bitten by an ant than by a mosquito.

it depends on how your body%26#039;s histamines react to it and what you have done since the bite. definitely do not scratch it! put some tea tree oil (discontinue use if redness worsens or rash occurs) on the site to help disinfect it naturally. you can use topical anti-itch creams also. the mound of the bite might subside in 1-2 days with a general itch that lasts up to 5 days or so. try not to cover the area and definitely keep it clean. if you cannot find tea tree oil than you can use herbal salve from a natural medicine store. expect the site to look worse by the way on the following day. good luck.

It can take days or weeks. As long as you%26#039;re not having an allergic reaction (swelling very large, trouble breathingg, hives, ect) then you%26#039;re probably fine. (:
