Could be either. Sweat stings! If the cut is red and puffy/swollen, then it%26#039;s infected. Keep your foot clean, put some antibiotic on the cut, and keep it covered if you have a band-aid that will work on your toe.
Shaving cuts usually heal up pretty fast. I don%26#039;t think you have much to worry about. 100% 1 Vote

Probably from sweat. When I shave my face (usually 630 am), and do something physical later in the day that causes me to sweat (like a work-out or jogging) my neck stings like you wouldn%26#039;t believe.
Now, if your toe is getting tender and/or slightly puffy, you may have an infection, which neosporin or the like will fix. 0% 0 Votes -

Whichever it is, it is best to treat it as an infection. If it is not, you protect yourself from getting one. Peroxide and a bandage.

It%26#039;s a cut. It%26#039;s going to hurt when you touch it because it%26#039;s an open wound. The sweat wouldn%26#039;t have helped the situation either. Sweat contains salt, and we all know what salt does to wounds. Just cover it with a bandage if it%26#039;s in a place that will have a lot of rough contact. That will prevent sweat everything else from causing you more pain.
